Tracie Mason

Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick Tracie has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry in Atlantic Canada and Ontario with companies such as Medavie Blue Cross, Blue Cross Life and The Cumis Group.

Tracie specializes in health and life insurance and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. She brings perspective, experience and a solid knowledge of the Individual and Group Insurance industry as well as the healthcare systems in Atlantic Canada.

Tracie also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University as well as the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) certification and is an Associate of the Life Management Institute (ALMI).

Active with her family and her community as a volunteer with various programs, Tracie is a focused professional who brings positive energy to our team. Our clients can count on her integrity and commitment to them.

Yanic Thériault

Originally from Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick Yanic joined Blue Country in spring 2017 following completion of an internship with the company. During this internship, he solidified his passion for the industry and helping clients meet their insurance objectives.

Yanic is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, and a member of our Health and Life insurance team. He holds a Diploma in Business Management from CCNB as well as the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) certification. He brings years of customer service, problem resolution, and management experience to the role, having previously worked in the call center industry as a team manager.

Yanic is fluent in English and French and Blue Country is pleased to have him on board to help us serve more clients across Atlantic Canada. Recognized for his great rapport and his commitment to resolving issues, Yanic is a trusted member of the Blue Country Health and Life insurance team.

My very first call to Blue Country Insurance the later part of October of 2018, requesting to reopen my account with the business, I spoke with Yanic.   He was very nice and patient with my questions and very helpful.  He assured me everything would work out ok and that it would be an easy transition.   He emailed me all the info that I would need; forms to complete and return, as well as several insurance options to choose from, and advised if I had any questions to either email or call him.

 

We did converse back and forth several time as well as emails too.  He even made himself available one evening so I could give him a call, because of my hours of work (9-5) it was difficult for me to reach him during the day.  The remainder of our contact was through email, which worked out great.

 

Yanic never made me feel like I was bothering him and certainly made me feel comfortable with his explanations in different options for us.  Also, he did not make me feel pressured into taking one option over another.  He always told me if I had any questions to let him know.

We now have my/our coverage plan all worked out with his excellent expertise I am happy with the package we now have.

We arrived in Nova Scotia in June, coming from France to join our children living in Halifax. We are retired, are 70 years old, and we're looking for the most comprehensive complementary health coverage possible. At Blue Country Insurance we found a listening ear and in French which for us is much easier. They quickly answered all of the questions asked. Of course, some risks are not covered because of our age but it's the same in all insurance companies. Fortunately, for now, we have not had to use the insurance much. However, I had a back problem in August while I was in Quebec, I questioned Blue Country Insurance by email, had a response by return and everything was simple for the reimbursement of chiropractor expenses. So far we are very satisfied and if we have the opportunity we will recommend Blue Country Insurance without reservations. You see that for the moment we are satisfied.
